چکیده

• Noble selector molecules composed of asymmetric N,N- substituted croconamides with strong binding affinity anions. The unique design croconamide-based selectors providing versatile utility for chemiresistive anion sensing platforms. Practical application real-time and rapid screening various oxoanions. Croconamides are a new class dual-hydrogen bond donors that have attracted interest in recognition applications due to their H-bond donation capability. In this work, we report sensors the detection anions based on poly(4-vinylpyridine) (P4VP)-wrapped single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) functionalized selectors. Model structures N,N -substituted croconamide -substitutional groups alkyl cationic pyridinium electron-withdrawing moieties such as aniline ( 6 ) 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl 7 were synthesized affinities characterized using UV–vis 1 H NMR titrations. Switchable oxoanions was observed , wherein HSO 4 – formed hydrogen bonding interactions acetate (AcO induced deprotonation NH protons croconamide. Large sensitivity transitions obtained toward AcO both P4VP- -SWCNT (S = 95.68 ± 2.11 %) 140.91 3.68 at 83.33 mM, which attributed upon addition . Three serial assembled sensor array selective demonstrated against other 2 PO real-time.

Cavitand-functionalized SWCNTs for N-methylammonium detection.

Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) have been functionalized with highly selective tetraphosphonate cavitand receptors. The binding of charged N-methylammonium species to the functionalized SWCNTs was analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and confirmed by (31)P MAS NMR spectroscopy. The cavitand-functionalized SWCNTs were shown to function as chemiresistive sensory materials for the ...

Task oriented facial behavior recognition with selective sensing

Facial behaviors represent activities of face or facial feature in spatial or temporal space, such as facial expressions, face pose, gaze, and furrow happenings. An automated system for facial behavior recognition is always desirable. However, it is a challenging task due to the richness and ambiguity in daily facial behaviors. This paper presents an efficient approach to real-world facial beha...

Selective ion-sensing with membrane-functionalized electrolyte-gated carbon nanotube field-effect transistors.

In this work the ion-selective response of an electrolyte-gated carbon-nanotube field-effect transistor (CNT-FET) towards K(+), Ca(2+) and Cl(-) in the biologically relevant concentration range from 10(-1) M to 10(-6) M is demonstrated. The ion-selective response is achieved by modifying the gate-electrode of an electrolyte-gated CNT-FET with ion-selective membranes, which are selective towards...

Bioaffinity sensing using biologically functionalized conducting-polymer nanowire.

A simple, one-step method for fabricating single biologically functionalized conducting-polymer (polypyrrole) nanowire on prepatterned electrodes and its application to biosensing was demonstrated. The biologically functionalized polypyrrole was formed by the electropolymerization of an aqueous solution of pyrrole monomer and the model biomolecule, avidin- or streptavidin-conjugated ZnSe/CdSe q...

A facile one-pot route to poly(carboxybetaine acrylamide) functionalized SWCNTs.

An unprecedented one-pot procedure employing a cyclopentadienyl functionalized RAFT agent allowed the grafting of poly(carboxybetaine acrylamide) - a highly functional and biocompatible polymer - from the surface of pristine SWCNTs. The pendant carboxylic acid groups of the surface grafted polymer were further conjugated with single-stranded (ss)-DNA, which was successfully hybridized with a Cy...
